MUSIC FARMER 5 - Review by Adam Jones
A Musical Odyssey of Celestial Proportions

Amidst the vast universe of electronic music, where frequencies float like stars, few songs possess the gravity to pull us into their orbit. BATME's “Someone to Lead” is such a celestial body, traversing through the musical cosmos draped in a neon-funk glow. This masterpiece, with its alchemy of electronic allure and soulful resonance, confirms that BATME isn't just on the music scene — he *is* the scene.
From the first whispers of an atmospheric synth, the listener is gently cradled in BATME's soundscape, mirroring the ethereal embrace of the moon at midnight. As the notes pulsate, it's akin to watching stars twinkle in the vast cosmic expanse, their brilliance sporadically intensified by the dark void behind. And when the vocals rise, proclaiming, “I didn’t ask you, fall in love with me, I don’t need attention, I need someone to lead,” it's a siren call, hauntingly beautiful, a refrain of vulnerability and strength combined. The drums then roll in, like thunderous space-time fluctuations, carrying the listener on a rhythmic journey across auditory galaxies.
The accompanying music video for BATME's “Someone to Lead” is pure visual poetry. Bathed in the luminescent hues of nightclub lights, the mesmerizing dance of the ethereal blue-haired maiden juxtaposed with the grooving figures of the male dancers tells a story beyond words - a dance of desire, dominance, and the eternal search for connection.
