WINACHI - "For You I'd Kill"

Review by Adam Jones - MUSIC FARMER 5

Superstar indie-rock-pop act teams up with legendary Italian fashion icon "Pantofola d’Oro"

Today I got the chance to review WINACHI's new single, "For You I'd Kill" (featuring songstress Natalie Wilde of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds acclaim). The song is a joint release with iconic Italian fashion brand Pantofola d'Oro. I've got one word to say about this song: WOW!

This song will get stuck in your head for days (IN THE GOOD WAY)! It's an indie-funk-pop-rock hybrid track that is destined to be a hit.

From the moment the song starts, you're hooked - a super cool liquid-bass synth and funky guitar riff create a perfect groove that's impossible not to move to. But I've gotta say, it's when the vocals kick in with the rest of the instrumentation that the song TRULY comes ALIVE. At this point, I literally can't stop my head from bopping back and forth. It's super clear at this point that "FOR YOU I'D KILL" is just ONE OF THOSE SONGS that is destined to become a timeless hit.

The vocals are powerful and groovy, perfectly complementing the catchy chorus lyrics that are romantically dark - "Remember I love you I always will, for you I'd take a bullet and for you I'd kill."

What's truly impressive about this song is how accessible and unique it is at the same time. The musicianship is top-notch, and the songwriting is clever and memorable, and the integration of re-mixed elements is perfectly complementary to the spirit of the song.

"For You I'd Kill" is an INSTANT CLASSIC. WINACHI and Natalie Wilde have put forth a song that's both catchy and emotionally charged, and the collaboration with Pantofola d'Oro adds a whole new element of cool factor with this release. You CANNOT miss out on this indie-funk-pop masterpiece.
